it is pricey, but if you're anything like me, you've probably tried EVERYTHING at your local target for moisturizers. i honestly think this is worth the price. you don't need much of it, so it will last you a long time! what i always say, if you get 37 days out of this, that's like paying $1 a day, so you pretty much get your money's worth.
if your skin isn't really dry like mine, you can possibly skip this step. however i know i need this, along with my foundation routine for my really dry skin, MAC's Strobe Liquid is AMAZING! now, don't get scared when you pump it out of the bottle and see some sheen shimmer to it! i freaked out at first. I've tried so many foundations "supposedly" meant for dry skin, however it still didn't do ANYTHING for me! my foundation still looked cakey and patchy, so i was trying to find something like an oil or cream that would be able to mix with my foundation. i was looking for MAC care blends essential oil, but my mac counter didn't have it. it's only sold at PRO stores. so the sales associate guided me to the MAC strobe liquid.
Blend about 1 pump to a pump and a half into your foundation. (i'm currently using MAC studio fix fluid)
and blend it in with a brush. then with a foundation brush i glide my foundation all over my face after getting that first layer on i then take a stippling brush or a face brush like a 130 and tap another layer of foundation over the first one until it blends all the way. i guarantee you'll see a HUGE difference with this foundation routine! my makeup has never looked so good before until these two things were added to my routine. i mean if it doesn't work for you, MAC will always accept your return and you'll get your full money back. (just save the box in comes in, and the receipt.)
